The demographics of the people looking at these pages are generally upper-middle class. People who own, and watch, many DVD and VCR movies. You also have people who are avid readers within the user population.

These people are competent on a computer and have, by virtue of their membership, purchased things on-line.

Advertising is presented to all visitors, and even members at certain points of their visit.

Banner advertising is inexpensive and has been proven to be effective.

Our banner ad placement is based on the number of the SECONDS on the computer clock. There are therfore only 120 spots available for banner ads. This assures you that your ad will not be burried under thousands of other ads.

These ad slots can be purchased in three, six or twelve month blocks. The banner placement period goes from the first to the end of the quarter. Ads purchased in the middle of a quarter are pro-rated. The price of a single 100 x 150 banner (see the two ads at the top of this page) is based on availability. As in airline seats, the early purchaser gets the better price.

If you do not have a banner, one can be designed for you at a nominal cost. Banners can be either GIF or JPG images. Animated GIFs cannot sequence more than twelve images.
